Lavinia is a fox who lives in the forest but occasionally likes to go into populated areas to see how we live. She dresses like a traditional fox and likes natural jewellery. She is good natured and will look after those who have taken a liking to her.
The artwork is 31cm tall including the base. I have used wire armature and wool of many colours to create this sculpture. No filler was used. I have given Lavinia a fluffy tail and captivating green glass eyes. She has a beautiful embroidered cotton dress and necklace. She is attached to a natural wooden base which is decorated with realistic woolen grass. So that the base does not damage furniture, I have protected the bottom with felt.
